Terapia ABA individualizada para un progreso significativo.
At MindCare by M&S LLC, we provide compassionate, research-backed Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children — and real support for the families who love them.
We see the challenges you carry every day.
Loving your child means wanting to see them grow, learn, and thrive. But when your son or daughter faces behavioral or developmental challenges, it's natural to experience moments of exhaustion, uncertainty, worry, and even fear alongside the unconditional love you feel every day. If you've ever wondered whether you're doing enough, we want you to know: WE UNDERSTAND.
As a parent, you've probably found yourself taking on many roles at once. You're your child's strongest advocate when others don't fully understand their needs. You're constantly searching for answers, learning new strategies, coordinating doctor's appointments and therapy sessions, and celebrating every small milestone with a joy that few people truly understand. Perhaps you've watched your child struggle to stay focused, follow directions, manage impulses, adapt to changes in routine, or connect with other children. You may have seen them become frustrated because they cannot express what they are feeling or need, or watched everyday situations become overwhelming for your entire family. It's completely understandable that these experiences bring concern and, at times, feelings of guilt or questions about whether you could be doing more. The truth is, you are not alone. Thousands of families are walking a similar path, sharing the same hope: to better understand their child and provide the support and tools they need to reach their fullest potential.
We know you've spent countless hours researching, reading articles, trying different strategies, and wondering what the next step should be. We also know that every new word, every successfully followed instruction, every smooth transition, and every meaningful moment of connection represents far more than progress — it represents hope.
At MindCare by M&S, we believe that every behavior has a purpose and that every child deserves to be understood before they are judged. Our commitment is to partner with your family by providing compassionate, individualized, evidence-based ABA services, ongoing guidance, and unwavering support throughout your journey. We are here to walk beside you, support you every step of the way, and help build a future filled with greater opportunities, increased independence, and a better quality of life for your child — and for your entire family.
"I just want my child to have a happy and meaningful life. I want them to learn, build meaningful relationships, feel understood, and reach their fullest potential."

Science-backed therapy, delivered with heart.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based scientific discipline that studies how human behavior is influenced by the environment and applies principles of learning to teach functional skills while reducing behaviors that interfere with an individual's development, safety, independence, and overall quality of life. ABA is widely used to treat individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions, though its principles also apply in education, healthcare, rehabilitation, and other fields.
The primary goal of ABA is to increase socially significant behaviors and improve an individual's quality of life. To accomplish this, a behavior analyst identifies why a behavior occurs (its function), develops individualized, data-driven intervention plans, and continuously evaluates progress to make clinically appropriate modifications as needed.
Skills ABA Teaches
- Functional communication (requesting help, expressing wants and needs)
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social interaction skills
- Appropriate play
- Academic readiness
- Self-care skills (dressing, hygiene, feeding, toileting)
- Tolerance for changes in routine
- Emotional self-regulation
- Attention, task engagement, and following instructions
- Personal safety and independent living skills
Behaviors ABA Addresses
- Physical aggression
- Self-injurious behavior
- Severe tantrums
- Elopement (running away or leaving supervision)
- Property destruction
- Disruptive behaviors
- Repetitive behaviors that interfere with daily functioning
A fundamental characteristic of ABA is that all clinical decisions are based on objective data. Behavior analysts continuously collect, measure, and analyze behavioral data to determine whether interventions are effective and to make evidence-based treatment decisions — ensuring that treatment remains individualized, measurable, and responsive to the client's changing needs.
ABA services are directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, supervises implementation, analyzes data, and provides caregiver training. Direct therapy is provided by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under ongoing BCBA supervision.
Today, ABA is recognized as the most extensively researched and evidence-based behavioral intervention for individuals with autism. Professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the U.S. Surgeon General recognize ABA as a scientifically validated treatment for improving communication, adaptive behavior, social functioning, independence, and overall quality of life.
Individualized Assessment
Every child is different. We begin with a comprehensive evaluation to understand your child's unique strengths, challenges, and learning style — so therapy fits them, not a template.
Positive Reinforcement
We build on what your child loves and what motivates them. Through encouragement and consistent positive reinforcement, skills generalize into real life.
Data-Driven Progress
We track every session with precision. Regular reporting means you always know how your child is progressing — and our clinicians adjust in real-time.
Family Collaboration
You are your child's first and most important teacher. We train and coach families to carry skills beyond the clinic, into home and community.
Play-Based Learning
Children learn through joy. Our naturalistic approach embeds therapy into play, routines, and everyday moments — not just structured table work.
Generalization & Independence
Our ultimate goal: a child who applies their skills across settings, relationships, and challenges — building real, lasting independence.
Who can benefit from ABA therapy?
Although ABA Therapy is widely recognized for its effectiveness in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), it can also benefit children with other developmental and behavioral diagnoses and challenges. ABA is frequently used to support children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder, developmental delays, communication and language disorders, Down syndrome, and various emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Additionally, ABA can be highly effective in addressing general behavior problems such as aggression, non-compliance, frequent tantrums, disruptive behaviors, impulsivity, emotional self-regulation difficulties, and social skills challenges. Through individualized, evidence-based programs, behavior analysts teach functional skills, strengthen positive behaviors, and help children achieve a greater level of independence and success at home, school, and in the community.

Words from the families we've had the privilege to walk with.
Before MindCare, I felt completely alone navigating my son's diagnosis. They didn't just treat my child — they held our whole family. My son said "I love you" for the first time three months into therapy.
The Spanish-speaking team was everything to us. Being able to describe my daughter's behaviors and understand the plan in our language — it changed everything. We finally felt like real partners in her care.
I was skeptical about ABA at first. But the team here is so warm, so play-based. My son actually asks to go to therapy now. The data updates they share every month keep me confident we're on the right track.
